Ce zine rassemble des textes écrits par Zain, 17 ans, né, élevé, et désormais survivant à Gaza, au cœur du génocide perpétré par Israël.
Zain porte sur ses épaules de lourdes responsabilités. En tant qu’aîné de sa fratrie, il fait tout ce qu’il peut pour subvenir aux besoins de sa famille : aller chercher de l’eau, de la nourriture, des médicaments, du bois pour cuisiner, ou encore des matériaux pour construire un abri.
L’écriture est pour lui un moyen de survie. Elle lui permet de tenir, jour après jour, dans une réalité insoutenable. C’est aussi un cri, un appel au monde entier : un cri de vie qui refuse de se taire.
Nous partageons aujourd’hui ses textes pour porter sa voix aussi loin que possible — et pour l’aider, lui et sa famille, à récolter les fonds dont leur survie dépend.

This zine brings together texts written by Zain, 17 years old — born, raised, and now surviving in Gaza, in the midst of the genocide being carried out by Israel.
Zain carries heavy responsibilities on his shoulders. As the eldest of his siblings, he does everything he can to provide for his family: fetching water, food, medicine, firewood for cooking, and materials to build shelter.
Writing is, for him, a means of survival. It allows him to hold on, day after day, in an unbearable reality. It is also a cry — a call to the entire world: a cry of life that refuses to be silenced.
We are sharing his texts today to carry his voice as far as possible — and to help him and his family raise the funds their survival depends on.
